Default Air Dam

Trying to get my air dam back on my c5. The 3 parts are not connected and I know there supposed to be. There is a big gap between the center and the side two pieces. Not sure what I'm missing. Wonder if someone can take a pic of the underneath of the car to see how it is supposed to be connected. Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, they have NEVER been connected. The largest piece in the center has to be able to pivot. If they were connected, that wouldn't be possible without breaking something. So no, I don't think you're missing anything......

Yes, the two side pieces are fixed in place but the center portion is on a pivot to where it can flex. They were always three separate pieces with a small gap in between each one.
