OK, I looked everywhere and could not find a definitive answer. Since I am getting ready to switch out (and sound insulate whole car) all six stock speakers in my C5 vert I want to be sure.. Have everything I need but...
If the stock head unit has been changed out, do the reverse polarity problems still occur (with say some JBL 328's (twiddler position), i.e. do I have to switch out the stock spade connectors.
Ipso facto if the stock wiring harness is wired Bose wouldn't that effect any other installed unit with respect to polarity?
I was hoping to know ahead of time so i know whether or not I need to pick up the adapters if the polarity remains reversed.
It actually doesn't matter what the polarity is as long as you keep it the same for all the speakers and the speakers are being directly wired to the amp.
