Welcome to the forum. Congrats on the car, she's a beauty! There's a lot to be learned from fellow members so don't be afraid to ask questions. A lot of helpful guys out there
Enjoy!!
to refresh yours brake calipers (other thread) you just need to brush them with a metal brush, or nylon brush on a drill. They will look much better than what they look on the pictures.

Thank you! I look forward to learning a lot from the group. I'm the 3rd owner. She 88K on the odometer and the previous owner had her for 19 years and only put 17K on it. So most of the miles was the original owner. I plan on driving it as much as I can and enjoy her. She definitely in a loving home.
It's always fun to hear about someone getting a C5 Corvette....and being so excited about it. I suspect most of us who have C5s either can't afford the newer C7s or C8s, or just don't want to thow that much out there at certain points in life. I stepped up and bought a brand new C4 Corvette 35 years ago....had it 32 years and three years ago tradded it on my 2000 FRC Corvette. I'm very happy I did. I've learned a lot on this forum and mostly just digging in to upgrade lots of stuff while maintaining a mostly stock car. So, between the time I got the car in 2018 and 2020 it was voted stock C5 of the year on this forum. I think you will find lots of help here and be able to do lots of cool stuff to your C5. I think I lucked out on the car I got and it looks like you have a great start too. Enjoy.
