I know you'll miss her. I can't imagine selling mine. I hope you get back into another Vette soon.

Although you did opine, I suspect your car was sold for good reasons that meant more to you then keeping it. But do not look back. It was a wise decision by you.

My first Corvette, 1964 vert with hard top was sold so I could afford an in-ground swimming pool for the family when we lived in FL. The memories of them having fun in the pool are priceless,.

If you are hooked on Corvettes (I was an am) given the right opportunity, you will have your avatar once again.

Hopefully you will be in another Corvette very soon.
I can't imagine not driving a Corvette every day.

I miss my old 1977 impala with a 383 stroker. I won’t sell mine unless finances get in the way. Someone in my family will enjoy mine at some point in the future, after I upgrade. I’d rather give it to one of my sons when they get older. Good luck. See you in the future.

I don't like to think about it, but I know, or believe, that someday soon I will sell my 99 Coupe. Logically, I cannot justify having TWO Corvettes and a V12 daily, and despite being middle aged (my gf is much younger at 30 vs my 42) I hope to venture into parenthood soon and that means swapping my daily for an SUV most likely. Granted, I am already planning it to be a clean Tahoe running flex fuel and a turbo.... but the coupe will likely be sacrificed when the Z06 gets my time. And really it has sat in the garage untouched because there is no AC out there and it has been a steady 100 to 128* in there most of the summer.

Man. Now I am having flashbacks to selling my 91 RS with forged LT4 355 and my 94 TA GT with giant heads/cam and suspension. Both sold in '07. I can still see them leaving. One on a trailer heading to Tennessee or somewhere to the son of a plumbing supply company owner, the other to some kid in NYC area who planned to race the hell out of it.

I know it is a sad day, but congrats on the sale. You didn’t mention what’s next - any hints?

Hopefully another Vette will be in your future.

Sad to see a C5 Forum member leave. Hope you find a car you enjoy better.
Personally, I would sell body fluids before I would sell my C5s

The OP has been a Forum Member since 2010 with a total of 39 posts. He probably will not answer any of our posts and just wanted to say goodbye I guess. 39 posts in 11 years tells me he might miss his Corvette but not the Corvette Forum!
