Really nice so you insert the rectangular piece with it loosely together turn it half way and tighten it up? Im looking for pucks you keep on the car. Let me get a picture of my jacking areas or where you would insert the pucks. They aren't perfectly straight from jacking or jack stands i believe.
The ones I gave you a link to earlier install the exact same way. Having them on the car full time is one less thing I have to worry about among many.
yes im looking for the ones that stay on the car. Any idea if my jacking puck inserts on the frame are slightly bent up? The rectangular backing should insert with the long bolts and twist in? I attached photos. Also did someone weld this jacking ring and washer on each side under the front fenders? Theyre pretty solid. I didn't check but where this washer ring is welded, is that where the normal jacking puck inserts fit to where i would just need 2 for the rear side behind doors?

I bought mine from ZL1 Addons. Aluminum, screw on type. A dab of Blue Loctite on the screws. My car is a track toy so it's up on jacks often and these work GREAT. $70 for a set 'o four. Well worth it.
I bought sets for both my cars from ZL1addons. Nice product, but I lost one off my Vert (my own fault, I knew it was loose but I procrastinated tighting it up). I emailed them about buying a replacement rather than just ordering anothering another full set. Email ignored, tried calling and left a message, no return call. Over a few weeks I hit the jackpot and they answered the phone. I asked about a replacement, they told me they would get back to me in a day or 2. Still waiting nearly a month later. So I ordered a set from Amazon, linked above, I could see no difference, so get the ones that are almost half the price.
Yes i tried contacting the sellers on amazon to see if they would sell me just two they said they only sold the sets of 4 sorry. There is a few of the Aluminum ranging from 34-40$ on amazon appearing to be same design or item different colors billet aluminum with the rectangular inserts that lock and secure them in place. Since i have those solid washers or jacking mounts on the front under the fenders sides i'll probably buy a set of 4 haven't decided what color black, aluminum or red and maybe sell the other 2 or save them for later. These are the nice ones or same black aluminum at 32.99 for a set of 4
I have been using the BMW pucks (snap in plastic) since 2002. Since I mainly autocross/HPDE my Corvette I Jack my car up about 50-70 times a year and never had a problem. Also, I mainly use the cheap Harbor Freight aluminum jacks to do this and still use a 20 yr old one plus a smaller one.
Which bmw pucks are you referring to? Are they the same snap in type that are advertised for c5 c6 c7 and porsche or maybe it was bmw? Just curious how those look before buying.
I must have missed something. Now I am extra cornfused.
Oh i believe theres 4 inserts for the pack of 4? Theres one under each front fender one under each sideskirt behind the doors correct? The previous owner had a donut ring and thick washer welded under the jacking points under the front fenders as to why i only need two for the rear set. I need to look under the car again but the fronts have these welded on each side which are solid but dont look pretty. Doesn't look to be stock as they're both different. The pucks would have helped as the insert holes is where i left the jack stands when rebuilding the torque tube. They wont sell me just 2 but the cheapest price i found was 32.99$ i believe so i will have to save the extra 2. They're may be be other oblong insert holes under the door area but i'd have to take another look.

I'm tracking now. I didn't understand your earlier post about someone else modifying the jacking points. That is definitely kinda weird but if it works it works.

Hockey pucks work great, when jacking the car up. I found they aren't the best if you want to set your car on jack stands, a little to soft. I made a set out of wood. Super simple to make, use scrap 2x4 and a 3" hole saw. Here is a picture of one in use. Not a great pic but you get the idea.
I guess it depends on the brand. I have 4, and carry them in the cubby in the trunk. They are just temporary, and fit in the slot rather loosly. They're not designed to be permanent.
