I have Nitto G2s on my C5z and have been great with excellant tread life. I also have Kuhmo Ecsta's on my daily driver C6 and they have been great as well.
Everyone talking about extreme contacts are talking about the dws06 afaik, although it seems now it's dws06 plus as discount tire says the dws06 non-plus are discontinued.

I need new tires for my Z due to age. What would people recommend that come in a 275/19 and 305 or 315/20, that would be good for 600WHP?
I don't drive it much, so mileage is not an issue, I am sure they will age out before wear out, like the current tires.
The Falken 452s on now, spin very easily, even when they were new. I don't expect something to hook in first gear with a clutch dump, but would like at least 2nd to be manageable, and 3rd to hook on full throttle. I don't drag race, or track, but I want something that grips well in the curves, not just straight line. Also would be nice to have something that I can get home if caught in the rain.
Either, depending on your true usage. Going by your OP I would think the Sports would be best for having fun. If you get caught in the rain it would be no problem at all. Cold temps you have to be careful.
DWS is an excellent daily driver tire. Possibly one of the best ever. That being said IMO DWSs look funny on corvettes. Everyone is different but I prefer a more road aggressive tire on a Corvette.
One thing I can say that is a plus two the DWS is it is the most quiet tire I've ever driven before.
I went with the Hankook Ventus V12 evo2. I’ve had Hankooks on a few cars now and I’ve never been unhappy. They’re a great option if you’re looking for a high performance summer tire.
I’m currently using Bridgestone S-04 pole position tire on aftermarket wheels. It’s a summer tire, Y rated, 305 30 19 rear, 275 35 18 front. So far it’s the best tire I have had. I’ve used the stock good years, general tire, and Bridgestone sport tires. I’ve never tried a drag radial or compound R tire. I’ve never tried the continentals either, but have heard good things about them for daily driving. I heard the sidewall squishes on the continentals if you road course it. Car handles great with the 275 tire up front, it just goes whichever way you point the car.
