One other benefit. Absolutely no drone at any speed. I have HCHI with cats and my Bassani's where just too loud. Went to titanium and you can have a conversation in the car or hear the radio without shouting or raising the volume.

It's a great way to upgrade from the stock exhaust but still stay OEM . . . and you can get it for a lot less than setups from Borla, Corsa, BB, Magnaflow, etc.

I actually have two sets of the Ti exhaust. The first one I got really cheap from a local guy because the right one "had a little bit of a rattle." It did have something rattling around in there - a chunk out of the cats? - but was not terribly noticeable, except at about 1400 (or 1500?) rpms when there would be a buzzing. I replaced it with another that I got from West Coast Corvettes for pretty much the going price. The old one is on a top shelf in my garage - I hope one day I will have a Eureka moment and figure out how to get that chunk out of it and make it good again.

Since you have this setup on your '99, can I assume that it can replace a stock system on a '98? And is this an axle back or cat back system? TIA

The necessity of turbocharging is two fold. It both quiets down the exhaust, gives it a unique tone- and allows the owner to dial any power amount they wish from the glovebox.
Turbocharging? Even though I agree with your statements, I'm afraid I dont know how this applies to the OP's question. I believe most people won't go to the expense of turbocharging to control the loudness, or tone, of their exhaust......

Alright let me repeat this one more time so you will understand what I am really saying.

The only reason I Would add a turbo to a car, is to control the loudness, or tone of my exhaust.

There, does that make sense now? Isn't it absolutely obvious what I am saying?

Or do you really think that I would literally install a turbo just to control the tone of the exhaust.

Because that is what it sounds like right now, that you actually think that
