Ok here go’s. Does anyone know if the c5 front upper control arms left an right are the same only in regards to shape? Let’s say you don’t have to worry about the oblong holes to the rear of the car or the little hole drilled in that nub on one side.if you didn’t take those two things into consideration is the shape of the left an right the same?... they look the same to me but it’s obviously important if there not.! Thanks in advance👍
Haven't looked at mine in quite awhile, so I can't be certain, or really help you. BUT-Knowing how GM thinks the majority of the time, I'd say they're probably different, even though making them interchangeable would save GM money. Which is why they wouldn't make them the same!!

They are the same. It doesnt matter. I think the different part numbers are due to the direction the bushings are pushed in, but even that doesnt matter so much on vehicle.
I saw the same (I changed mine out about 3 weeks ago).
1- They do have different part numbers
2- It seemed like they are just slightly off center on the way the arm is, so putting it on the wrong side you would soon see it wouldn't connect correctly to everything else.
They are mirror images of themselves from left to right.
That's what I think. Opposites/left and right are usually what manufacturers call this stuff. I haven't ever seen them side by side, but I'm sure there's enough difference, even if not detectable with the naked eye, that I wouldn't be comfortable swapping sides. Your life depends on these components being installed properly, in their respective positions.....
