I have this one: https://bestrestproducts.com/shop/cy...tire-inflator/
The quality is excellent. You'll want the optional 8' cord for use in an automotive application.
I think this is the best portable pump on the market.

Maybe not the best - but I just ordered this one Amazon half off - good to throw in the truck or wherever not worry about.

May not be anywhere near the best, but I use a Campbell Hausfield compressor I bought at Walmart. Works fine for a portable compresssor you could keep in the car. For home use, I use a Craftsman 6 gallon 150 psi compressor - works great.

I have this and it works great and extremely portable. Battery is extra but I already have batteries from other Ryobi tools.

After a couple of years carrying these two in a rear bin:
https://www.harborfreight.com/12v-10...tor-63745.html
https://www.harborfreight.com/12-vol...extension+cord
(which worked very well), I recently went with one of these:
which so far has impressed me enough to give a couple away as X-mas gifts.
Have not used it to fill a flat rear tire yet, so that may be a test that needs to be run, but have used it to top off all four tires when a few PSI low.

Not the best by any measure, but I picked up an Everstart pump that I just came across in the Walmart clearance aisle for $8.
It uses a cig plug, which is fine for me, don't have to worry about a battery seeing as how this thing will hopefully never be needed.

On my Amazon wishlist. Highly rated, great features. I wanted car battery cables because, I don’t know, just feel uncomfortable with a sustained high draw from the cigarette lighter. If you have ever had the console off and removed the lighter connection you’ll know how flimsy that is…

I love this one. It's cheap, quiet, and reliable. It also works better than any other 12V compressor I've tried (including ones that have cost more than twice as much). Plus, you can get it in a variety of colors.

Which ever you choose, be sure the pump end screws on and is not the lever-type that can pop off at higher pressures.
I tried using one of those old school lever types on one of my bicycles that takes 110PSI and it could never stay attached beyond ~70lbs while the screw-on type had no problems at all

Dewalt - set it and forget it. I use it on my SUV after coming off the beach and also for air mattresses when camping. Get the battery too - it runs faster on the battery than on the lighter...

My tire pump arrived. I’m very happy with the features of this pump. The pump itself flows nearly 1.5 CFM, has heavy duty cords and clips the attach directly to the battery, and long enough between the battery cables and air hose to reach any point on the car.
Also includes a nice thick carrying case. This is not a cheapo plastic pump! The last thing I wanted if I found myself stranded with a flat tire, was a pump wannabe that would not be useful when I needed it.

Well I did ask for a portable air compressor. My wife never asked me for what model I wanted and bought me a real air compressor. You needed two people to get it out of the SUV. Never did. I bought and used today for the first time, the JoJoy Lux model from Amazon. Under $30 bucks, 2770 reviews and multi faceted to accommodate multiple types of pressures. Was able to check air pressure of tires before filing them. Worked great! Thanks everyone!
