Default LED taillights

I converted all the lights in my 65 C2 to LEDs for better visibility to other drivers, I had to change to an electronic flasher to avoid hyperflashing. I would like to put LED taillight bulbs in my O3 C5 but I was just wondering if they had changed the electronics so I wouldn't have to change a flasher to avoid hyperflashing.

You will experience hyperflash issues if you're just putting in LED bulbs into stock taillight housings.

If you get full LED tail replacements, they have the resistors built in and won't hyperflash. (halos, burgers)

If you wish to change the front to LEDs, you'll need the harness w/LED flasher to avoid hyperflash

You'll want to get a hyper flash harness if you're going to swap to LED. It's an easy install, and works reliably.

The harness also helps with the dreaded hazard switch malfunction. It cost around $50 and prevents the adding of resistors.

I agree with all the above. Best to just get the hyperflash harness if you plan to convert to LED lights.
