Ok, what have ya'll named your pride and joy? I think a name should mean something. Or make you think of a good memory. Or maybe a not so good memory. Let's hear em. And maybe a good anecdote to go along with it.

I don't name the cars, other than the following:

"The Corvette"

Also have "The Merc"

And the "F250"

Plus "The Honda". No picture, it looks like every other white SUV.

I've got "the daily," also known as "the beater vette." It really isn't at all a beater, but as it is a daily it shines less than most here yet is meaner at the same time.

Then I've got "the project" which I typically just call "the Z."

Ive never named a car before. Nor my *****. I go by user reviews for that one. "Gorgeous" and "the way they all should look" or "Jesus. Again!?"

Names for inanimate objects are cringe-y.

I went the easy route, "Black", "Blue" and "New Red".

Also have "Baby"

and the "Green Beast".

Funny responses, I've never been much for naming cars either.... if they catch any sort of name, it usually involves the cars model or trim level designation... which isn't much of a name.

With that being said, I do cal my Corvette the "Red Rocket" from time to time, but it is definitely not the car's name.

I don't technically name them, but some are referred to as something humorous.

My vette is "my fickle black mistress" or "the black b*tch"
Vmax is "Max and Maxine" because it's schizophrenic
BMW 6 series vert is "the steamer"
RAM Rebel is "the truck"
29 Model A Murray is "the A" or "Murray"

Wife's Wrangler CHIEF is "beep beep the Barbie Jeep" (she hates that I call it that)
Wife's SAAB 93 vert is "the cry baby" or "the CB"
(she's finally grown fond of this name I gave it)
