Magnaflow x-pipe and Flowmasters, here on my C5. Will be doing x-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers on the late C4 I inherited from my father, very soon.

I highly recommend Borla. I have the Borla S-Type II cat-back exhaust on one of my 2000 C5s, and I have the Borla ATAK cat-back exhaust on my other 2000 C5. Both of those exhausts have NO drone. If you want loud but great sound, I recommend the ATAK. If you want a little less loud but still good sound, then the S-Type II does a good job.

Welcome to the forum! Borla is certainly a good option. Most of their setups have no drone. You'll need to decide between the touring, s-type, or ATAK variants. exhaust is very subjective. I would suggest checking the local car clubs and cars & coffee meets to see if you can hear an example of each for yourself.
