Why no C5 throttle controller/booster?

The reality is the C5 PCM is essentially a 16K IBM P2, the c6 was based on the 386/486 architecture. More transaction can be completed, changes, etc. The C6 had both TCM and PCM while the C5 had everything in the PCM. We had a club member that was the lead programmer on the C6Z architecture and he gave a presentation in 2005, on all the items they could add to the engine management system. The original C5 was only 516K till 2004 (1MB) and that was in preparation for the C6.
