I really want one, but I don't $1300 want one. Hard to justify that cost.
$1000-2000 can buy you a 4 post lift. However if you don't have the room or ceiling height to use one, this is a good second option.
I don't know how old you are, but I'm 35, power lift 3 times a week and I'm getting tired of jackstands LOL. IMO it depends on the project being done. If an oil change, I would probably just use jackstands quickly rather than pull this lift out. But this winter I did a full bushing install/camber kit install and bumpsteer kit install....this lift would have been AWESOME.
Plus for racers at a rod course, you can use this trackside. You just need a 110V outlet.

Yeah the trackside aspect is nice. I don't track enough to justify it (yet... that's a goal after we buy our house though). I'm 31, haha
I cheat and use ramps for the oil change. Ramp it up, jack the rear from the cradle to drain it fully, and call it a day. But I get you. Definitely easier on the back. I wonder if these can be driven over?
Hopefully HarborFreight makes a version of their own soon. And it would probably be <$500.
That price point is a pipe dream. IF they ever release a similar product line it will likely be within $100-200 of QuickJack's offerings and come with their super awesome 90 day warranty. Knockoff QuickJacks of unknown quality are available on Alibaba for ~$700, but shipping is likely a few hundred bucks.
You can get an extended warranty on all of their power tools for cheap, and it practically works in perpetuity because you can do it again on the replacement.
But truth be told, I've never killed a HF power tool. Even the cheapest and crummiest Drillmaster stuff I bought when I was a broke college kid still works today.
People interested in 2 and 4 post lifts should look up ARESCO (Automotive Repair Equipment & Supply COmpany). Call (248) 766-2364, and ask for Steve. Not as pricey as one may think. I have no vested interest in this company, but I have had one of their 2 post lifts for 12 years. No issues whatsoever.....

Per their website, all they sell is expensive Bendpaks (and note sure why they have a ".org" domain which is supposed to be for non-profit companies): http://www.aresco.org/BendPak_parking_main.html
I got my nice Atlas 4 post lift with delivery and installation for $2600 three years ago. Probably higher now due to the massive inflation.

Inflation and times change. Friend of mine bought two at Atlas brand at ~$1800 for his shop a couple years ago. Clearly I haven't "been in the loop" on lift pricing.
Funny how people complain about price of things in comparison to others. Is what it is, you buy it or don't lol. I'd pay $1300 for a Quick Jack when a 4 post is almost double that now. What else are your options?
Quick Jack is versatile IMO. It would work in my current 8' ceiling attached garage and track side if needed or anywhere a 110V outlet is available. Next house will have a detached garage and a 4 post though.
I'd consider it, I honestly keep forgetting about them, if I didn't just go through a whole delrin bushing/camber kit/stud kit and now picking up a pair of race seats Sunday. Funds dried out this winter. Oh and wife's horse trailer needed tires lol.

I have a Quick Jack that you are welcome to use anytime you need it, just let me know.
