Yes how much was it to tint them. The precut window tint for specific models are exact sizes from my past two experiences with 95/98 z28s. The corvette doesnt have a top door pillar if there was only a way to remove the door panel about 1" away and the front rubber weather strip to insure the tint doesnt pick up any particles on those ends and can squeeze them till all the air is out. Yes i forgot about the rear window defrost lines that may be hard to tint without having any air around the lines.

yes the problem to ensure tint is done clean would be to remove the panel about 1" away from window and the front rubber corner weather stripping and just sue the 30$ ebay precut window tint. The rear windshield will get 1 line crease in the middle but isnt too bad i had it on my 98 z28 unless you want a 2 piece section rear window tint. Mothers used to have a tint and alarm special for 100$ or maybe it was a tint special but i cant find that advertising anymore. They should be professional and ensure their work or tint comes out flawless. I do roll my windows down alot till i get the ac compressor replaced i should have got the ebay 150$ warrantied v7 compressor kit with accumulator when i did the cam swap and a 160 thermostat but was low on funds. Also should have did the pb 180$ 25% ud pulley for that extra 10hp or 12-14 as asp claims. Id pay the extra now as i had just did the job a few months ago. I have an 02 torque tube the one with c clips and easier to replace rear carrier bearings with c clips low miles 70k. Id pay the extra 80$ and 80$ for the ud pulley and skf c3 bearings if there was only a way to pull some magic and have all that installed ud pulley, the 02 torque tube with skf c3 bearings as i was just in the transmission area last summer for solid couplers but didnt get to replace the rear tt bearings and for the ud pulley install. Well worth the extra maintenance. I did however replace the front 6007du bearing nsk and managed to pop the seals off the rear carrier bearings and packed some general purpose clear grease. Nsk told me if it was clear grease then it was general purpose grease the blue color is the lithium when i popped one side of the seal covers i seen a minor glob of clear grease and went ahead gambled packing some clear grease i had on the shelf. The nsk covers pop off and back into place easy i had the old front input shaft bearing to play with to figure out how to do that trick any other bearing i dont think id risk it. Also went ahead and regreased the idler, tensioner pulleys as there was no grease with lithium grease so it took away that marbling sound from under the hood when i replaced the alternator decoupler pulley. My volts are 14v after having removed that key on relay to the stock fans and rewired them back to the underhood fuse box relays.

How much to tint? Well, it was in 2006, so IDK how relevant the $200 price is today.......
