C7's have a slightly diffeent pitch circle diameter than C5/C6. Not a good idea to mix the two as it adds stress to the studs when the wheel nuts are tightened.

Welcome to the forum! As others have said, wheel locks are way more trouble than they're worth. With that said, McGard is a reputable company. If they said these are what you needed for your car, they may be willing to replace them for free. Good luck! Also, post up a separate thread introducing yourself. I'd love to see pictures of your entire car.

I had a couple of "crowns" crack off lug nuts just from using an impact gun on them a long time ago. It was a customers car, so I don't know what brand they were, but they were chrome plated aftermarket. We looked real close to make sure the studs weren't bottoming out.

I didn't even know there were that many. I've got 4 sets of them on different cars in my life and I can use the keys interchangably. Even bought them all separately, various vendors, etc... maybe I just got lucky haha.

Gorilla keys are not keys. They're spline drive sockets. They just have a few different sizes to accommodate all the OEMs stud sizes.

If it were a key it would only go on one way which would be a mega pain in the ***.
