Thanks for the photos - I was checking out google images and seeing the same thing, makes me feel better! Lol. I was able to get the glass / door aligned about as good as possible, having some slight interference issues with the blowout clip on occasion but I think once the weather stripping is finally seated and sees some heat it'll work out just fine.

Subbed!

Loving the project and the color. I've seen nardo grey and destroyer grey on C5s. But grey black looks to be a very cool combo for a Z. Black, but can show off the lines at the same time. And still be sinister.

Two thumbs up. Bonus points for trying something new.

Thank you! I initially planned on destroyer grey having recently sold a destroyer grey charger until I happened to stumble upon this color. Definitely excited for the end result, getting somewhat close!

Quick update -

Driver side has been a challenge. Fought with the window and door alignment for hours, decided to order a new window motor with regulator bracket and that seemed to do the trick. Just down to small odds and ends and bumper covers. Another month or 2 and she’ll see the road again

Sneak peek prior to the maiden voyage sometime within the next 2 weeks, just some minor assembly left to go!

Killing it! Props for all the attention to detail. I thought it looked dang good when you picked it up but this is definitely an improvement. If ever I was to redo color, it would be a wrap, and similar to this. Excellent work sir.

You been busy, looking good. I thought you'd have tinted tail lights though. Still looks damn good with red.

Old covers were too scratched up to put back on. I was on the fence as I thought the red kinda looked good but ended up buying replacement covers. They’ll be tinted again! Didn’t want to paint them in case I change my mind again.

No doubt about that! Ceramic coating next after the paint has some time to cure, hopefully that’ll help!

Bringing this back from the dead. Whole car has been ceramic coated, new shoes, new dewitts goodies. Won an award @ Carlisle. Next up will be a big brake kit and eventually some A&A power

Looks great with the new wheels. Congrats on the award too. How do you like that coolant tank? I've often thought about one myself just because the plastic ones deteriorate over time.

So far so good. It fit well, looks good, and no more concern of the plastic wearing out. Actually that's what drove this upgrade as the OEM tank developed a very small fracture at the bottom tee.

A couple of days ago I commented on the color of your car on another thread, and now I see all the work that went into it. Awesome.
