Incoming C5

Cleaned out the garage this afternoon, cleaned/stained the floor and doing a bit of painting in anticipation of a '98 convertible headed this way.

I really wanted a coupe, but this one came along with 77,000 miles and I just went with it. Want to swap out the red carpet for black and perhaps a wheel change. Undecided on the White top lol...

Car is loaded in Alabama and will arrive here before noon tm. I think that trailer is worth more than the car.

Come to think of it, I want those trailer wheels on the Corvette haha!

Congrats on the new whip! I think the white top looks great. I would keep it if it were me. Plus the white top is better to have on your hotter FL days when the top stays up and the AC is on.

Arrived just after lunchtime -

Overall, pretty decent shape for a 24 year old vehicle. Gave it a quick bath making notes of the items that need attention. Tires are Bridgestones, 265/40R17 and 295/35R18.

Interior looks very good...likely be replacing that red carpet with black tho. No rash on the wheels, minor pitting. Has some type of aftermarket cold air filter. Lots of misc parts came with this car. Previous owner said she was given them when she purchased and she just stored them. Found this in one of the trunk cubby holes...pretty certain I will need it as the oil pressure gauge is pegged lol.
