Just curious if you could spray this in sections and the paint not got in any worse condition?
If you *really* want actual paint protection, go with a reputable dealer and get a PPF wrap. I went with Xpel, 10mil (after I had re-painted the car black),
I have XPel on all my cars -- including my daily and my wife's. The really do take a decent amount of abuse and best thing is that if you get nick, long as it's not in the paint, usually only a few $100 to replace a panel. I've had it on my '18 trackhaw, my '67 c2, and my wife's '18 SRT durango, the paint on all of them look factory fresh.
They tout the "self-healing" properties of xpel, but I think that aspect of it is pretty overplayed.

Does not sound like an effective product to me.
