They're not an independent review place. To quote themselves: " CarCareReviews.net receives compensation from some of the companies listed on this page." They're basically a for-hire advertising service.
It would be nice to see an independent review of these ceramic products in similar circumstances over a period of time. Anyone know of one?
Folks I'll throw this in the bin.....we used Rejex coating on our aircraft for many years. Note: Per the instructions, you cannot put in on over another product as it will last only as long as the previous product. Goes on paint or clear coat and molecular bonds to the surface...bonds so well, year or two later beads up like new and slicker then owl ****......put it on my new Ranger 2 years ago and today the slickery surface beads up and is like I just put it on. Stuff is not super expensive and is manufactured by Corrosion X....a product that we spray into aluminum airplane wings, etc., to halt and eliminate any possibility of corrosion. Actually we use it on electrical connections on aircraft as it enhances the electrical connection as well as protects against corrosion. You can check with any major aircraft mechanic. I also us Corrosion X on my auto electrical connections and battery poles. Please note, I have NO affiliation with this company, just many years of user experience !!! https://www.corrosionx.com/collectio...iAAEgIfzPD_BwE
Yikes. If any of you are interested in learning about extremely high-quality paint correction and protection products that have been proven to be very effective and durable, come visit us in the Car Care section. Lots of us OCD detailing junkies hang out in there. Many of us are former/current pro detailers. We are happy to educate fellow Vette owners.
There is a definite difference between getting your car ceramic coated, and using the sprays that have been posted here. These are detailing sprays. they are sprayed on top of, or instead of wax. They are great, but they are not as durable as a professionally applied ceramic coating. Those coatings are semi-permanent, and can last for years. These sprays only last a month or two at best. However, they are also a small fraction of the cost. They are also WAY easier to apply.
I don't mind "wax on, wax off." I actually enjoy it.
