Ok,so I am **** about my Camaro and now my C5's appearance. The Camaro was roasted in a fire. A neighbor of mine came over and gave me a half bottle of this ****. I used to detail cop cars for living. This is the best **** ever. Mirror shine. Super slippery. You won't go back to anything else. It ain't cheap, but nothing good ever is.
If anybody hands me a bottle of ****, they're getting it right back, and I'll pay shipping!!!!Sorry, you were WIDE open for that one!!! Glad to hear it works great, and thanks for.the tip! Welcome to the forum, btw........

Personally, I'm a big fan of Technicians Choice. You can find it on Amazon. It goes on super easy, and works as well or better than any other product I've tried.
I had my Jeep Grand Cherokee ceramic coated and it's really what it is made out to be - keeps the car cleaner, water repellant, etc. The Vette will be next.

There is a definite difference between getting your car ceramic coated, and using the sprays that have been posted here. These are detailing sprays. they are sprayed on top of, or instead of wax. They are great, but they are not as durable as a professionally applied ceramic coating. Those coatings are semi-permanent, and can last for years. These sprays only last a month or two at best. However, they are also a small fraction of the cost. They are also WAY easier to apply.
"Way easier" is an understatement. I did my Tacoma and there is for sure a learning curve. I kept reading about "high spots". I didn't really understand what they meant. I found out real fast.
You let the high spot on there too long your getting the buffer back out and starting over.

Less than $40.00 for a gallon. It doesn't take much of this stuff. A gallon will last you for many years. It really works, and it's cheap.

Give the technician's choice a try. The stuff you posted is $200.00 a gallon, and application requires hazing and buffing. The technician's choice is less than $40.00 a gallon, and you just spray on, wipe off, done! Not only that, but it still works great even if the car isn't completely dry first. After trying it, the ease of application is what really sold me on it. As I stated it works as well or better than any other detailing product I've tried, but it's cheaper and easier to apply. I had used a bunch of other more expensive products. Some worked great, some didn't. I was convinced to try this by another forum member who is a professional detailer. Now, I can't imagine using anything else.
I tried Meguiar's ceramic wax treatment and it checked all of the boxes TC did. Easy application, easy wipe off, "smooth as ice"... I was amazed. Only $20.00 for a spray bottle and great reviews...

I use that same stuff too. That thread you're talking about with the detailer is what sold me on it too. Love it.

I use TEC582 as well. Can't beat it for the price. Walmart has it for the same price w/ free shipping if you don't want to support Amazon.
