I'm ordering some Recaro Pole Positions and I'm trying to figure out what the best seat bracket is. All I've found so far is some junk from amazon, the ones by Planted that have mixed reviews and then Marrad which I can't find any reviews for. Anyone have any experience with any of these or some insights on other brands to look at?
Corbeau
Planted
Brey Krause. I like the Brey Krause the best but in order to make it work in a C5 you need to convert to C6 seat belts.
I have the Corbeau brackets and sliders in my C5. I do recommend if going with a slider to try and have all the manufactures parts confirm they work together, seat, bracket and sliders.
I went with the Cipher bracket: https://cipherauto.com/products/ciph...12336029040682
Compared to some other options (ahem, Planted) it has a nice tilt angle and puts the rear of your seat low, which some others (like Planted) don't. This is critical for maximizing headroom for taller drivers, but also many of us seek a greater tilt angle and some people will excessively stack spacers/washers to achieve it instead of going with a better-designed bracket.
