Until the time an OLED tail light is made I prefer a high quality Hella bulb in the factory tail. It just look’s classier and suits the car although it’s not “trendy” like LED lights that are not up to the quality of the OE units.
Hopefully this will only be till someone builds a set of OLED’s that don’t scream cheesy, cheaply built.

funny how different opinions can be. To me, my halo leds from sharp light look much nicer than the factory setup, and are brighter.

Quality of the OE lights? They literally feel like dollar store lawn decor plastic. My halo units feel like better material and the brightness difference can't be overstated.

We only have 4 round tail lights...how much can you do with them worth the money to do all this.

Pass. Leave that stuff for the ricers.

Never have liked current aftermarket C5 tail lights
Every time I see them, the thought sticks with me of an Obviously Chinese made super nova bright tail light missing a few single LED’s

IMHO; I never want that kind of look although; I get how others feel the burning desire to stand out it’s not my bag. Until someone makes an OLED my factory lights are fine

Quality of light is also the output and how it’s perceived by someone else. Have you ever seen a massively bright LED headlight coming at you and thought it’s not cool? Same thing. It’s not necessary.
Let’s see about material quality 5years from now. May I remind you where it’s from and the lack of quality that country evokes?
Even though my tail lights tail light may not be LED halo they are American and I like that much more

mine have been there for almost 10yrs and doing fine. My opinion, they look like they belong there. The factory tail lights are very dim. GOOD LED halos look very nice on the C5. The round tail lights are practically made to look good with them.

but to each his own. Enjoy the drive and save the wave!

It’s not the car but the owners who shine the brightest. The car merely images traits they wish to express their own personal styles with. Whatever the parts are; Choose well and enjoy the rest of the ride
