Hey everyone, this is my first post on this forum. I’ve been perusing topics for the last week since I bought my new 1999 Magnetic Red coupe. I really appreciate all of the info everyone has posted so far. It has been very helpful.
Once I get through fixing the electrical and A/C issues I’ll be doing minor smog compliant bolt ons and will get the brakes and tires ready for some minor auto crossing.
My kids love the car and my wife is on board with the plans so I’m really excited to get started with this project and get the kids involved with me.
Thanks everyone. It definitely helps when the wife is onboard.
She looks good other than the missing pain on the mirrors from the cover that used to be on it. The electrical is the real problem right now. It has the traction control/ABS codes that I’ve come to learn are common and am working through checking grounds and wiring. I would pull the codes but the DIC buttons don’t work either. So check grounds, check door wiring, check IPC, etc. Once that is done I can move on to the fun stuff.
