Hello all, was wondering if anyone has experience with the Petlas Velox Sport PT741 99Y particularly the 285/35ZR19. No track use.
the price is very compelling. I found no negative reviews.
I haven't heard of them so I did a little research, and they are manufactured in Turkey and rated pretty well. The tires you listed are high performance summer tires which are fine for year-round use in SW Florida where I live but I would not use them in cold weather climates.
Thank you. I saw that. I was hoping someone might have actually used them for how they performed. At 139 each compared to my normal 400 ea I want to put a pair on the rear. Thank you for your reply.

Thank you for your reply and pictures. Have you taken a look at the manufacture date on the tires? In their ad they say their tires may be 4-5 years old before sending them out for sale due to warehouse storage. Was wondering what the age of yours was when you received them?
Have you ever had a flat with a low profile tire, on an elevated freeway with no shoulder? I have. It's a dangerous situation.... What are the odds with a 300 hundred dollar Michelin or a 132 dollar cheap-*** Joe's Special Tire? You can't fix stupid..!
Hmmm …. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You are a closed minded person.
there have been no issues of that sort with these tires not even their race drift tires or aircraft tires. It’s stupid not to consider every option.

Are you saying that a 300 dollar tire is less likely to catch a nail or a screw on the road and is less likely to have a flat ?
