Just a quick question about tire size
I know there are tons of tire size posts already, so I don't mean to add to it. If all goes to plan I'll be picking up a C5Z this week, and it needs tires.
I Wanted to get continental's, either dsw06 or contact sports. I like the contact sports, but right now 295/35r18 are on back order...
Would this setup look weird?
255/40r17
285/40r18
They don't make the contact sport in 285/35r18...

Guys run 255/40/17’s up front and look and handle fine. I run 275/40/17’s on my stock front wheels, but may go to 255’s with new tires I’m getting soon. A 285/40/18 is going to have a bigger sidewall, not sure how big a deal it would be though. What car are you getting…. Pics?
