Found some great deals on some C2’s, but I’d have to sell the C5 to buy them
I’d have to helicopter them to my island in Greece, but it might be worth it. The home on the east side is mostly marble and other stone, but in spite of the staff’s best efforts, it still kind of cold and uninspiring sometimes. I’m thinking a couple builds may get the old juices flowing… 😎
I'm not sure if I'm of positive influence or not. But I say...screw the helicopter transport. Go by water and buy everything on that list. Maybe not the Avanti.
ROFLMFAO!!!!! Screw the helicopter. Id go there with enough $$ to buy at least 2, build a raft, then buy an Amphicar to use as a tugboat, and tow it back!!
I'm sure that many of us have a "coulda' bought one back then" stories......In 1974, a fellow I knew, wanted to sell me his '67, 427 coupe. He was the original owner of the car, and like many others who have young families, other priorities came along, and the car was spending too much time just sitting in the garage. He offered it to me for $3500. It wasn't a money issue for me, I just didn't have any place to keep it.......
I bought a '69 427/390 4spd coupe for $4,600 in 1981. Flipped it a year later (after 2 little kids came along) for $5,200!! Sure made out on that deal!!
