I made my own out of 3/4 MDF from a template here somewhere on the forum. Also made a tray that goes in front of the partition with cup holders and bins to store stuff so it won’t move around. Wrapped it in speaker carpet. Came out pretty good.
if you don’t feel like making your own, I think they come up for sale in the parts section from time to time.
also, just google c5 partition and vendors will pop up.
I have had the black Z06 trunk partition from Exotic Vette (https://www.exoticvette.com/c5-cargo-partitions.html) in my car for about three years. It looks OEM once installed, is lightweight, strong, easy to install, and easy to remove if needed. It's construction is (I believe) rigid ABS panel covered with OEM looking mouse fur. It has been a terrific upgrade and, to me, easily worth the cost.
Pros and cons:
- It has not made a significant difference in reducing road noise in the cabin.
- It has significantly improved sound quality from the OEM stereo by deflecting rear speaker output into the cabin.
- It has significantly improved efficiency of the A/C. Cabin cool down time is much quicker.
- It has provided much needed privacy and security for any goodies stashed in the trunk.
- The cargo shelf area of the interior now looks finished / complete and is now useful. I can put stuff there and it stays there...rather than drifting into the cargo / trunk area.
they pop up on here for sale once in awhile.. i purchased one last year from a lad on here.. made a significant difference in noise for me. sometimes it falls down, and i can tell right away from the noise increase.. I don t want to permanetly secure it in place.
also made my own a few yrs back from 1.5 inch stry. and carpeted.. worked well.

Another vote for Exotic Vette's trunk partition, fits and works great. Have had mine for a while, only issue I have had is the adhesive tape that holds it in place started to melt when we had some 110 degree heat here in California, So I got some 1" self tapping screws, and screwed it into the aluminum bar that it is normally glued to, and it is now super solid. Biggest plus factors for me is it cut down heavily on the interior drone of my exhaust when I have my windows up (I have Billy Boat Bullets), and the AC now cools down the cabin much faster. Over all great purchase.
