replacement Keys ?
I'm looking to get a extra key for 2003, is there anything special I need to know about a replacement, it has the pellet so that means it needs to be different, but what ?

You have to have the same pallet resistance. You can take it to a dealer and they will measure it and cut a key, take it to a lock smith and they can measure and cut (most have blanks) or do it yourself and order the blank key with the correct resistance and have it cut at a lock smith.

I measured the resistance myself with an simple old cheap meter, matched it to the resistance chart, ordered the key on line for about $10.00 and had a Batteries plus cut my new key. The total was less than $30.00. Watch the video above, he is dead on. My local shops did not have the proper key or the ones who did, wanted a fortune.
