Looks like that ended yesterday. Will keep looking for Black Friday deals next week. Thanks for reply. Bob
Wow I ordered mine right before I posted.
It said it was on sale to the 24th at least I thought
it was actually only the model with the bundle that was on sale. The same lift without it was actually higher priced. You’re right though I looked on the website just now and it’s not there.
What's the difference between the NEW TL Models vs. SLX Models?
The biggest difference between the 5000TL and BL-5000SLX is the lifting height, which has increased 3 inches. This provides ample room to perform all the common vehicle maintenance tasks and allows you the capability to perform even the most complicated repairs.
Overall dimensions have remained the same, so you'll continue to benefit from what made QuickJack so popular in the automotive community and that is it's super-low 3" lowered height. The minimum lifting point spread did change from 31.5" to 37", but this will not make a difference to the vast majority of 5000TL users.
Just picked up the 5000SLX from a Canadian Tire here in Ontario for $1000 from a store that had it on clearance. The larger 5000TL model has 3" more lift, but the lifting points I believe are very slightly off for the C5, though guys seem to make it work using a bit of steel plate etc.
Is anyone using the Quickjack 5000TL on a C5? Looks like the jacking points are different and blocks wont fit correctly. Any help before I order one. Bob

Yes, I have the 5000TL setup. Yes the spacing off very slightly, but it will work with flat aluminum pucks. I have an inexpensive permanent mount set of pucks from Amazon. I am sure you can use it without pucks too as long as you use the black poly spacer blocks included with the 5000TL.
I cannot move the car on the QuickJacks, it is very sturdy and with the pucks no damage to car and like I said, the poly blocks should be fine on their own as well.
Just FYI. I contacted BendPack to inquire about the refurbished models that they may have. They told me that they had "new' left over SLX5000s ($1200) and Refurbed ($990)models too. So after consideration, I called back within a few days and told the woman I wanted to purchase. See then told me that they only had SLX 7000 refurb that would sell for $990. So, I purchased. After a week, I had heard nothing about shipping, so I called. The guy researched, called me back later, and told me they were still "packaging" and it would be another day. The next day, my sales lady called and said they didn't have anything in stock, that there was a computer error.
Then she said they would send a new TL7000 out for the same price. No sales tax, no shipping. I recommend calling.
I did call today and ask about the 5000SLX said no refurbs and discontinued the SLX. They said to check Costco or Home Depot for maybe a leftover one. No Luck. They did have some 3500slx but think that is a little close to max capacity. Thanks Bob
Anyone know if the 7000TLX will fit under our cars? I see QuickJack has a 12% off sale going right now. I would like one that I can also lift my Sierra with.
I have a 5000TL I use on my 02 vert. I also use Amazon pucks (although not permanent) with the small QJ blocks and it works fine, but the tolerances are close. I'd say each puck is 97% seated on the rubber block. But I have used it this way many, many times with no issues.
I'd also recommend checking with any liquidators in your area to find a cheap setup. I got mine brand new in the box from a liquidator for $1000 out-the-door back around April or May. It had been Home Depot stock that didn't sell. And QJ did honor the warranty.

My understanding from my research before getting one is that only the TL models (5000 and 7000) will work on a C5, as far as current production goes. There are older, discontinued models that will work, but I don't remember the model numbers.
