Default ABS module relocation?

If this has already been addressed somewhere please redirect me. I have a 2000 base coupe that I recently did a radiator replacement on and found that the ABS/ Electronic Brake Control Module is in an extremely inconvenient location. It seems that the drivers side fan actually contacts the module. In some of the videos I watched on removing the radiator it seemed the module wasn’t located in the same spot as mine. Has the module been relocated to a different spot in the later C5 years? If so is it possible to relocate the module on the earlier years to have better access to the fans? I literally fought to get the fan and radiator back in because of it. Thanks I’m advance.

The earlier cars had it mounted in the rear under the car.

'They were the very early cars, '97, '98's IIRC. The unit was moved forward prior to AH being available.

Seems like it would be quite the effort for little return, meaning how many times do you plan on removing radiator and fans? I tend to ask these kinds of questions. Please don’t get offended.

no offense taken. It’s a logical question and honestly I don’t plan to do it often. It does make me interested in looking at aftermarket fans to see if they are slimmer.
