Harmonic Balancer
Would like to replace crank pulley to avoid problems down the road. Any recommendations on brands or styles? I see solid or two piece with impregned rubber available. Just drive the car like an old person (no racing or track driving). Thanks.

If your balancer spins straight without any noticeable wobble, don't replace it.

This is a reliable upgrade over OEM for a stock driver.

Power bond does make a good balanced. But unless the current balancer is bad, no sense in messing with it.

Replaced my GM Harmonic Balancer with a Summit SUM-C2501 Harmonic Balancer, ARP Balancer Bolt using the installation tool and new crankshaft seal last month at just under 69K miles. This is a big job that should be using a lift and with 2 people if possible. Like I said, if your balancer spins straight without any noticeable wobble, don't replace it.
