Best you go with Michelin... They design and build a tire especially for Corvette.. Don't be afraid to spend abit more for the best tires for your Corvette and lady.

We have stuck with Michelin All Season Run Flats and never been disappointed.
I know that many will say they do not have the same cornering capabilities of non run flat tires, but truthfully, how many of us ever drive 10/10s where we need that extra "1/2 ounce" of grip? If we really are pushing our C5 that much then we probably have specific race oriented tires on in.
I may be in the minority, but I do not want to be trying to seal and air up my tire on the side of a busy highway or on a dark country road somewhere. Run flats will get us where we need to go to get proper service for the tires.
We also run all season. While the weather is not always perfect here in North Carolina (currently 14* this morning), but it is nice to have the capability to go for a ride whenever you want, not sit home because it is too cold for summer only tires.

I put Hankook Vetus EVO on mine and am happy. Work good in the rain. I’m in Fl so don’t worry about cold temps.

Keys get cool, but never as cold as Central Florida. It has even snowed in Miami Beach. It has NEVER snowed in Key West. We had 28° in Central Florida this morning, and it's going to 34° tonight. Key West low is just under 60°.

Had the same tires. No complaints and much cheaper than the Michelin. Would buy again.

I have Bridgestone pole position s-04. Y rated, stiff side wall. Great road tire. Tire rack rates them best in hydroplane resistant too. I have them in 305 30 19 rears and 275 35 18 fronts. Rears are getting thin quick. My new 3.73 gears and 3200 converter doesn’t help, but it puts a grin on my face from ear to ear.

General G-Max RS summer only or General G-Max AS-05 ultra high performance all season. Less than $900 for a full set from Tire Rack. I have the RS on my C5 and the AS-05 on my daily driver. They are definitely not a "get what you pay for" tire.

I went with Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires. If you are okay with a summer tire I’d highly recommend them!

I was curious how the generals perform. I’m confused what your saying about them. You like them or don’t like them?

Thanks, Joe.

I agree with you, 100%. HOWEVER, i seriously am beginning to think that Michelin is either stopping production of these tires, entirely, or making them in "occasional batches".....

Testing has been done between summer tires and all season tires. Differences are minimal. I’m thinking of going all season tires the next time I buy. Drag radials or track tires are a different story. Summer tires might work better on a track if your trying to maximize your performance without getting actual road course tires.

Thanks, Joe.
Sorry for any confusion. I had stated that they are NOT "you get what you pay for tires". They are absolutely phenomenal tires for what they cost.
