I realize you like the car and price is likely good. However, this car is commonly referred to as “A Mechanic’s Special.” A professional mechanic with unlimited access to computers, meters, lifts, knowledge bases, etc will get this one for cheap and spend evenings and spare time getting it right. If you don’t have those resources or expertise, better you move on and spend a little more for one with no problems.
Im just trying to give what I believe is reasonable advice to a fellow Corvette lover. If I am ever posting the same situation, please tell me the same thing.
