Thats fantastic! Three of my vehicles are registered antique and I drive them everywhere. My 2004 has a ways to go, but we'll get there.

Mine is up for "Histroic" plates in NJ next year - saves money on my registration, that's about it.

Congrats on the milestone. The C5 is still a great looking car and a good performer, even as an antique.

i looked up the laws in my area and i think the idiots here require the cars to be 35 years or older to be considered antique

Ha ! ...Go Granny Go Granny Go Granny Go!

The thing is they don’t look anything like an “Antique”

Clearly the design has aged very well

quite a bit better than most

and certainly better than the last generation

These cars definitely Do Not look Dated at All

Save The Wave!

Party on Granny!

Got my antique registration last week for my 1998 and used a plate from my 1931 Ford Roadster which I sold... No inspections, no emissions, and no registration renewals ever here in Pennsylvania.

Here in Ohio you can use the antique plate from the DMV or model year plate after 25 years but it has to be the same year plate as the car is. And never have to renew it or pay again for I think it is 20 years but supposed to be used for car show etc not for every day use, but don’t think it is really inforced.

forgot about that. My car was actually manufactured in 1998 for 99, wonder if I would actually be eligible this year?

Antique tags have restrictions in TN. Can't put them on a daily. They limit you to shows and functions etc....
There is also something to be said about putting an antique tag on a sports car. We have no inspections here anyway and the $60/ year for a regular registration is not a big deal.
