Am looking for the C5 Poverty splitter, don t see anything on Eklers, not that i want to deal with them. I see some on the a California site, but don t
want to spend 112 shipping for a 89 $ piece... anything input would be appreciated. .there is a link i was watching but it petered out cpl years ago. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-splitter.html
TIA AL
The price range is all over the place on ebay. From 45.00 to close to 600.00. I had one on my C6 and C7. If you chose one that is installed with 3M tape and uses the existing mounting hardware make sure you get some 3M adhesive promoter. You can find it online and it will increase the holding strength of the tape by 50%. Just wipe down the area on the splitter and car where the tape will attach.

thanks. looking for something that WON T overheat, Too many that do..
I ll keep nosing around. Eklers don t seem to respond anymore.
One thing you can do to make a splitter like that last longer is to make a small lip that looks like a undertray but just sticks out maybe 1 1/2”
it looks aggressive but it will help float the air damn when it scraps instead of it catching and folding under, I would make these for my 911turbo and it worked great.
Reviews are mixed but it has the better design to channel airflow to the radiator. Maybe spray bedliner the underside to increase strength?
The 1/4" abs that I would mount to the 911turbos would work in that one really well, protect it from getting caught and and make it stronger, even if it only stuck out a additional 1"
9lives racing will send you a a fullsize template with hole locations and everything you would need to cut and make a good functioning splitter. I think its like $11.
Select DIY template, No mounts, and No ramps.
I don’t even understand the advantage in these, lol, but they’re made from ABS which is durable plastic, but brittle. Wouldn’t a slightly softer, more forgiving, compound be better?

The 9lives splitter template is for a hardcore track splitter it definitely needs to be securely mounted to the frame, they sell the mounts to go with it and the car needs to be converted to a front breather.
here is the one I made for mine. Very close to what the 9lives pattern would be, full undertray
still nosing around,, haven t found anything just yet.. if someone has a brand they can toss out, would appreciate it.
Not interested in carbon fibre,, just the cheap duraflex kind of thing.. not sure how long it would last even,,, bit of driveway issue for me.
that is what I am looking for, what brand is that and what material is it made out of please
I would like more information on this one as well. Looking for something subtle that doesn't disrupt the bottom feeder airflow into my Callaway Honker CAI. If I can use existing hardware that reduces additional drilling, even better.
