Default EBCM removal process.

I Removed the Air Bridge in the process of getting the ECBM off, got one wire harness off working on jacking up the Vette to get the other, but when the Air Bridge off I noticed the 2 grommets could use a replacing. I looked at the "Parts No Longer available" at the top of the page and was wondering if anyone knows or something else that will work, I was able a few months ago to find GM Part #19421056, but these are too small to hold the air cleaner and bridge on ?

Thanks Jim

Are you referring to the 'insulators' depicted as #17 and #24 in this graphic? If so, they are GM 25176248, I suspect still available at your local dealer, otherwise Corvette Central very likely has them.

Wow, Is it tight area for the EBCM ??? I have to get a long extension to even get the Torx bit to the 4 screws left to remove. I'm not a big guy or have large hands, but this something I'm sure once installed, they built the rest of the car around it !

It's easier to lean over passenger side with extension. Real pain in the *** putting screws back in.

I did it from the top. A little tight. But much easier

I replaced the T20 Torx screws with Socket Head stainless M4-.7 x 20mm screws.
Makes it much easier to start with a long 3mm allen socket.
Of course, I didn't have one at the time, so I cut off a 3mm wrench and used a 3mm 1/4in
drive socket.

I used one of these finger ratchets with a really long T20 Torx bit and it made it much easier.
