I just installed a Joying 8.8 with a wireless volume control, and backup camera. The system works great, but the fit is driving me crazy.
It’s the gaps between the faceplate, and the radio bezel. If I flush mount it I can’t see the left side of the screen. I can’t resize the screen because I’m not a computer scientist. So I filed the left side to open it up a bit. Now I have gaps. Are there any trim pieces for dash’s out there? Any ideas would be appreciated
Get yourself another bezel. You shouldn't have trimed it. It's not that hard to resize the screen. Look at the thread on the Joying it has all the information you need.
I agree that you made a big mistake filing the bezel. There are clear instructions on the forum for how to root this unit. If you can't do it yourself, you should find a shop that can do it for you. As you have seen for yourself, the Joying only fits if you resize the screen. Hence the "...sort of" on the install thread.
