Default C8 Wheels On C5

I went thru the Forum search; Bupkiss.
Anybody tried a set or seen C5 with C8 wheels lately?
Thanks. Have a super day

I gave up on the CF search function years ago...Google...and add ":corvette forum" to the search terms if you specifically want results from CF.

Isn't the lug pattern on the C8 wheels different than the C5/C6/C7? If so you would need bolt-on adapters, not just spacers to make them fit. That is unless someone has come out with reproduction wheels with the C8 looks that have the correct 5x120.65mm pattern and offset to fit the C5.

I've seen plenty of C6/7 rims for a C5 but not any C8's

These guys have a bunch of C6/7 options. I like the C7 Z06 rims myself

Different stud pitch circle diameter and larger diameter wheel studs.

Don't think you are going to get the C8 wheels to work without some major effort - if at all.

There are actually several people out there with C8 wheels on a C5. I'm not a huge fan of the look, but I think they do look better than a lot of the other C6 and C7 wheels people like to put on. From what I recall, either need to open up the center bore a little more and/or use a spacer.

Hub Bore on C8 wheels are larger but can be compensated for hub centric trim rings and there is an old BMW trick out there to connect unmatched bolt patterns with "wobble bolts".

I believe it's the opposite, no? C8 wheels have something like a 66-67mm hub bore compared to our 70.3.

Wobble bolts aren't needed at all for 5x120 to 5x120.65, there are TONS of people running 5x120 wheels on C5s out there. A lot of drifters in that crowd. I've been running 5x120 for a couple years now as well. I did consider wobble bolts just for that .01% chance, just never got around to it haha.

Thats why a hub centric would need to be bored out
C8 center bore is 66.9
C5 is 70.3

Think about that for a minute...lol. The center bore on the C8 wheel is smaller than the hub on the C5...
A hub centric ring fills the void between a smaller hub and larger wheel bore, not the opposite. It can't magically make a smaller hole fit on a bigger hub lol

No, the wheels would have to be bored out.

The center of a C8 wheel would have to enlarged to clear the axle hub of a C5 to fit
