Curious if there is a recommended cell phone holder folks have had good luck with in their C5's? Searching the threads, much is a bit stale and several years old. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks All, Cheers!
I used Proclip in my C6,7 and nowC5. They are solid as a rock. No wobbling or bouncing around. No two handed phone removal and a notched bottom for charging cord.
Another pro clip fan-Easy to install and perfect viewing angle for using the nav on the phone etc. and it works great with my personal S21 Samsung or my work Iphone13 (in it's case)

What's nice about Proclip is if you ever change your phone, you only need to order a new holder and not mounting bracket
Course motorsports hands down. Not sure whats going on in the above image, kinda looks like they dont have the bezel completely installed. No gap on mine, and you can see in metalman’s post he doesn’t have a gap either from the mount
I've been using these on all of my cars for the past ~5 years now. Put mine on the center vent in the C5 for easy, unobstructed visibility and I've never once had an issue with it, spirited driving and all. No damage, no drilling, no residue after removal, etc and you can put one in every car. Just close the vent when running the heater...lol, but you can leave it open with the a/c on and your phone will love you for it
douglasjre........I have no issues with breaking the vent. This has a little clip that grabs the back side of the vent and then snug it down with the adjuster right behind the holder and it does not move nor break. I have had it on and off several times when removing the bezel around the stereo, never even heard a crack.
