I am replacing the Clutch in my C5. Could you please give me advise on the following:
1. What Clutch Package is advisable for the Standard 5.7 V8? (not really looking for high performance)
2. How much should I plan on paying for Package?
3. How much for the labor?
OEM replacement LUK replacement clutch kit or the slightly upgraded "LS7 clutch" as many call it
Price out on RockAuto.
At least 8 hours at shop rates (whatever they are you need to ask them)
Would be advised to inspect Torque Tube bearings/couplers (and rebuild the TT if needed), replace the slave cylinder and add a remote clutch bleeder.

Smitty2919,
Thnx for your response. The car has 68K on it. Am I looking over $1500?
10.5 hours shop time. Best economy clutch is LUK 04-905, which is the LUK generic LS7 clutch with flywheel for the LS1, $360 or so at Summit. Do a search on the LS7 clutch before you jump that way, as many report pedal height differences.
The LUK 04-173 is also a good option, the replacement LS6 clutch. About the same cost as the -905.
Best clutch bargain is the GM LS7 clutch kit from Scoggin Dickey, $690. Pretty much the same clutch as the 04-905, but genuine GM so some argue better balance.
