While cleaning my engine bay, the cap to my master cylinder flew off and went into the engine bay. Unfortunately, I was not able to find it. I called 2 dealerships to see if I can buy another one but they both told me it's on back order and they don't know when they're going to get more. Does anyone know where I could possibly get one from? I live in Maryland.
Thanks. I just went to Auto Zone and bought one. It fits, however its pretty loose. On the back of the package it indicates to replace a gasket as well if the old one is worn?
Since I've already installed the cap from Auto Zone, I'm inclined to leave the original "lost" in the fender. I did have another question. I noticed that the body or white portion of the master cylinder appeared to be a little loose. Anyone know how to tighten it?
