Depends on how inconvenient it will be for you if you get a flat.
If your car is a garage queen that only goes out for parade duty on sunny days once a month a flat tire is of little consequence.
If it's your daily driver, often driving through construction areas with large potholes during rainstorms in the dead of night with no cell coverage a flat tire could be a huge hassle.
Will you carry a plug kit and an air compressor? Small jack and lug wrench in case you can't plug it without removing the wheel?
Do you let your grand kids who know nothing about changing tires drive the car?
If the worst case scenario is something you can deal with regular tires are probably fine for you.
I don't know where in Canada you live. Many people in Ontario come to WNY for a drive. Tires much cheaper here. Call up a shop like DUNN tire. Have them order. Make appointment. Have new tires put on. Throw some dirt on them or drive on some dirt, grass whatever. Take self addressed envelope to shop and they mail receipt to house. Yeah you went to visit X or ate at Y.
