DIC message?

Got in my 01 today and after starting I noticed a message on the DIC stating "traction control warming up". Never heard of this before. Anybody with thoughts?

The system has to calibrate itself with the steering set straight ahead. It is normal unless the message doesn't go away.

Normal, I read somewhere tat if you make some quick turns right after taking off it will trigger the message.

The only time I get that message is when I park in underground garages. No idea why...

i've had my '00 c5 for over 20 years, never saw that message, and in the past year or so it's been starting to show up -- it goes away after about 30 minutes of driving.
