Default Exhausting Question

So while my potential buyer of my Z06 tries to make up his mind whether he's going to buy or not, I'm trying to make up my mind whether I want to sell it or not.

If I keep it one of the first mods I want to do is exhaust. I'm sure there are a ton of similar threads but hey, that's what the forum is for, right?

I'm not sure what other mods I will do down the road. H/C/I, supercharger, both, etc. if any. The options I'm thinking about are the bypass mod, the Corsa, Borla, BB, etc. axle back, X pipe, or long tubes.

The bypass mod is cheap and easy but will it be loud enough? If I don't like it and switch out to something different I'd want to sell the stock exhaust. Will it hurt the resale value of the stock ti exhaust?

I know long tubes will make it louder but how much louder if I keep the stock exhaust? Will an X pipe increase sound (I don't think it will)? Long tubes aren't cheap. Other than sound, how much will I gain on an otherwise stock LS6?

If long tubes don't give me any significant power gain (poor bang for the buck) then might be better to do X pipe with different axle back?

What about these?

Hooker straight pipes. They are relatively cheap compared to the other options. Too loud? Too much drone? If I try it and like it, would I benefit from an X pipe too?

All these option choices are a bit exhausting!

Don't bet the farm on the bypass mod being cheap! On a base C5, maybe. You have a titanium exhaust. Not every welder knows how to weld, or can do a good job welding, titanium.

If you are drone adverse, put an X pipe on your TI muffler or get a Corsa.

I had a set of TI mufflers I wanted to get bypass modded and I literally gave up trying to find a shop willing to weld titanium and I live in the aviation capitol of the world. Ended up selling them as I didn't care for the sound of them not bypassed.

I think it was Trackspec that makes a premade set of bypass pipes for the Ti mufflers for like 200 bucks. You just have to find a good welder.
