build sheet and window sticker
I received the build sheet and window sticker from the Corvette Museum today. It says my '02 coupe sold for $46,600 back then. According to the inflation calculator, that translates to $79,823 in today's dollars.

I got the same thing for my 03 50th Anniversary Convertible and it sold for in 2003 for $57.793 ? Crazy since the first owner the only thing he change on my car were the license plates. and he only put 10.035 miles on in 20 years, I'm the second owner. I'll never figure out people !

My RIP father in law was a car dealer (Hudson/Nash/Chrysler) and he said that average sales of cars from buyers were 18% below sticker price. I have used this as my one of many bargaining points in my new car negotiations.
