C5 Secondary air pump needed
Hello All - A good friend has a 1999 C5 with the 5.7 engine. He needs a secondary air pump. GM part number is 24505066. AC-Delco part number is ADO 215-345. We cannot find a new one anywhere and hoped someone here could help. Is there a source for new or rebuilt pumps? Can another pump be substituted? If so, what model? Any other thoughts? Air pump
Hi, I have a 99 also. Not sure what’s wrong with his but I took mine apart and found it was full of condensation water. Cleaned it out and cleaned the little motor. Replaced bad filter inside with new foam. Tested it, worked good. No cost just a little time and some unused filter foam I had. Good luck.
