Default C5 exhaust

Been waiting for a MagnaFlow exhaust since June 9 and they say it will be end of August or later before I get it so cancelled order. What’s an exhaust that is similar to MagnaFlow 16732 ? Don’t want anything to loud or drone.

I’ll admit up front that I am biased here. I recommend the Corsa 14139, Sport volume, 3.5” Tigershark tips, no drone. Best looking tips (factory look for the C7s!), pretty quiet at part throttle but throaty when you get on it. Can’t speak to availability, but a very good option.

I have those on mine. with out headers that are very refined sounding. with headers they wake up quite a bit and sound even better. Tame at part throttle and aggressive under full load. I picked up mine last year and had to wait a month or so. for some reason they just don't keep a lot of C5 exhaust in stock. Who would have thought that? LOL

If you want recommendations, I’ll go with what the others have said - Corsa sport.

I had an Corsa Indy Pace Car system (now the Sport) on my last C5 and it was excellent.

Same here, after looking, listening and deciding, Corse Sports. No drone and quiet enough that cold starts are not obnoxious to my neighbors but when you smash the fun pedal she barks!

The recommended Corsa will be better than the Magnaflow that you had been waiting for. You might also like a Borla touring exhaust.

YouTube provides a good source of sound samples. Have to say, the Magnaflow does not sound bad, not at all:
But I'm sticking with my Corsa (though this is not my car in the clip):

I had a LS6 crate motor with Corsa Xtreme’s on my gone but not forgotten C5, and long tube headers…

Some felt it was to loud, to me it was like driving a race car!

I'm going thru the forums gathering opinions to try to figure out what system to use on the box stock 11k 02 FRC .. And it's my 1st Chevy .. In the threads it seems like it's all Corsa, Borla and Magnaflow .. I also see that B & B is advertised in these forums .. Has anyone tried them ? I'm looking for a decent system .. Not a Bargain basement chinese system
And for now I'm only looking to go cat back ..

Right now, I am running GHL Bullets on my '03, I got very lucky that a set came up for sale. On my '99 I had C5Z Ti mufflers which I was also happy with, granted I also had Dynatech LT's.
