Headers - dipstick placement by year?
I know the early vs later egr pipe and air tube placement on exhausts changed for 01+ vs prior.
What years had the dipstick change?
Trying to pre-plan how I need to mod the tube off my 2003 or not when I finalize the exhaust. In my case it is a 2003 two piece batwing mated to an LS2 block and using who knows which design for the Speed Engineering pipes.

My 02 was in the stock location with my headers, so no modifications needed. I believe the location changed in 01

I didn't know people kept the EGR system when going to headers lol.

Yes, 2000 and earlier had a straighter dipstick, and it bolted to the exhaust manifold, or headers. '01 and up changed to the longer dipstick, with more bends, and it bolts to the head......

If we're splitting hairs here it's not EGR. It is AIR injection ports.
I would purposely never buy a set of headers with air injection ports.
All of that crap is gone from my car including the pump.
Gotta make up for the iron black somehow lmao.

My AIR is all gone too, including the pump, but I have 1-7/8 Kooks with the ports, so I used block off plates.
Regarding the dipstick, mine is a 2 piece batwing, 2000 car and the dipstick tube mounts to the header.

That is correct, sir. I also have a 2000, 2 piece batwing pan, and dipstick bolts to header, once again (thanks to Mr. Black!!).
