Don't worry. I will definitely keep you posted but not much to update as of now. The deposit has been paid to the shop so they can buy all the adapters and converters and secure a spot. Right now it's scheduled to drop it off on Jan 6 barring a snow storm. I'll update this thread with more pictures and updates then.

Just a quick update. Got the LS3 over to the shop today. I was able to put the crate on 2 moving dollies from Harbor Freight which was great for moving it around my garage. This also made it fairly easy to load onto a motorcycle trailer from U-Haul. The shop had a fork lift so they just pick up up off the trailer. I drop the car of on 1/6/24 and he said it should be done by the end of Jan. Really getting excited now!

Going to have a shop do the install and tune, mainly due to time constraints. Super excited and will post process and dyno numbers once all said and done. Should be much better on the track.

This is the polar opposite of everything I live for.

But, there is something very cool about this car and how complete it is!

Vette is dropped off at the shop! (They have got some really cool cars there including 3 C6 ZR1, a C7 Z06, a Camaro ZL1 1LE and many more) driving there was interesting see as we got over an inch of snow and its cold here in Chicago and 200TW tires don't like cold and moisture but it made it. Should be done by the end of the month and he said he'll send pics of the progress, which I'll post if/when I get. Don't think I've ever been more excited for February to get here (not that I'll be able to drive it cause it will still be cold and snowy, but I can listen to that sweet LS3 in my garage!).

Where did you drop it off? I’m in the far northwest suburbs of Chicago, about 50 miles northwest. I would love to hear and see the car when it’s done.

I'm curious to know the shop as well. Speed Inc seems to be a local favorite although I personally don't have experience with them.

Yep the shop is Speed Inc in Schaumburg. I've heard nothing but good things about them. They were even on MotorTrend and based on what I've seen in the shop, I think I made the right call taking it to them.

Speed did my header install and tune back in 2006. My car is still trouble free. April 2022 they did 3.73 gear and 3200 converter. Again, car is trouble free.
